Bank Robbery Press Release and Crime Alert

The Englewood Police and FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the following bank robbery:

Vectra Bank

5050 S. Broadway.

Englewood, Colorado

11/30/17, 11:02 a.m.

The suspect was described as a white male, 20 - 25 years old, 5'9" - 5'10" tall, with a medium build. Suspect was wearing a black baseball hat, black sunglasses, dark blue bandana over mouth, dark hooded sweatshirt with white logo, neon yellow, white and black gloves, dark colored pants and dark colored shoes. Suspect fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
