The Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force need your help identifying a bank robber. The bank robbed is:
US Bank
730 Colorado Boulevard
Denver, Colorado
March 2, 2018, 11:57 a.m.
The suspect is described as a black male with a mustache, approximately 18-25 years old, approximately 6’0" to 6’2" in height, and weighing between 180 to 185 lbs. He wore a blue “Colorado" sweatshirt, baseball hat, shorts, and black and white tennis shoes. The suspect was carrying a black “Batman" backpack.
The suspect presented a written demand note, robbed the bank, and fled on foot in a southeast direction.
Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
