Bank Robbery at SunTrust Bank on March 5, 2018
On Monday, March 5, 2018, law enforcement agencies responded to a bank robbery at the SunTrust Bank at 244 Andrew Johnson Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee.
Reports indicate that at approximately 12:20 p.m., a lone white male entered the SunTrust Bank, demanded money via a note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money from the bank. The robber fled the scene.
The suspect is described as follows:
* White, Male
* Approximately 5’6"
* Small Build
* Wearing Sunglasses
* Fake Beard
* Wearing Hoodie
This matter is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Safe Streets Task Force, comprised of the FBI, Knoxville Police Department (KPD), and Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), in conjunction with KPD Patrol.
