FBI and SDPD Request Assistance to Identify December 2017 Bank Robber

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery in San Diego, California.

On Dec. 30, 2017, at approximately 3:20 p.m., a lone Caucasian male entered the Vons grocery store located at 4725 Clairemont Drive, San Diego and robbed the Wells Fargo Bank inside the store. The man used a note to demand cash from the teller. No weapon was seen or used in the robbery. The robber received a sum of cash from the teller then fled the bank on foot.

Witnesses have described the robber as follows:

* Sex: Male

* Race: Caucasian

* Age: Late 20s - Early 30s

* Build/Weight: Average

* Height: Approximately 5’11"

* Other: Clean shaven

* Clothing: Dark colored sweatshirt, white shirt, red shorts, black sneakers, baseball cap

* Weapon: No weapon seen.
