FBI Media Alert: Armed Man Robs Gallup Bank

FBI Media Alert: Armed Man Robs Gallup Bank

The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who used a handgun to rob a Gallup bank on Tuesday (4/17/2018).

The robbery at Washington Federal, 221 W. Aztec Ave., occurred at approximately 9:26 a.m.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7" to 5’10" tall, with a medium build.

He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, and latex gloves. He carried a dark bag.

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from a teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

The FBI and Gallup Police Department are investigating.
