FBI Offers Reward in Gas Station Armed Robbery

FBI Offers Reward in Gas Station Armed Robbery

The FBI Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force is asking for the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect who investigators say robbed the Citgo gas station at 77 W. Lincoln Avenue, in Mount Vernon, NY on Feb. 14, 2018. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest.

Witnesses say the robber came into the store wearing a face mask, sunglasses, and a hooded sweatshirt. He pulled out a firearm and forced the cashier to pull money from the register. No one was hurt during the robbery. He was seen both approaching and leaving the Citgo in the vicinity of Oakley Place.

If anyone has information about the robber or the robbery, they are asked to call the FBI at (212) 384-5000. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
