Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis today. Secretary Blinken and Prime Minister Mitsotakis reviewed the strength of the bilateral relationship. They underscored the importance of solidarity in promoting stability in Europe, including support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s aggression. They discussed the importance of strengthening investments between the United States and Greece. The Secretary and the Prime Minister also discussed efforts to promote peace and prosperity in the Eastern Mediterranean and Western Balkans.
