Lakewood, Colo- the BLM Colorado State Office is pleased to introduce the new Deputy State Director for Support Services, David McCormack.
McCormack began his career with the BLM Colorado in January, 2013 as the Information Resources Management Branch Chief. He brings more than 20 years of experience in both private industry and civil service including the Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Transportation, and with the U.S. Geological Survey as the Regional Chief Technology Officer. McCormack attended the University of Phoenix, earning a degree in business and has a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute. He has a successful history of improving operational and business processes that increase efficiency and save money.
McCormack, who grew up in South Texas and Washington State-and now lives in Lakewood with his wife Stacy and two sons, David and Silas. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and camping.
McCormack will start his new position next month.
