The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, April 12, at 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., to discuss the release of the Proposed Resource Management Plan (RMP) for western Oregon. The BLM is proposing a path forward for local communities in western Oregon with a plan that will increase job growth, tourism and recreation, and timber harvest, while offering strong protections for the northern spotted owl, listed fish species, and water resources.
