BLM-Utah Resource Advisory Council/Recreation Resource Advisory Council Meeting

Salt Lake City-The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Resource Advisory Council/ Recreation Resource Advisory Council will host a meeting on Thursday, May 5, 2016, from 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m.

Agenda topics include: election of officers, an overview of BLM-Utah issues, Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, recreation fee proposals for McMillan Spring and Lonesome Beaver Campgrounds, an overview of past recreation fee recommendations, special recreation permit application fees, Connecting with Utah Communities Strategy, Planning 2.0, Greater Sage-Grouse Land Use Plan Updates, Respect and Protect cultural resources campaign and projects, and updates on St. George Field Office planning efforts.

Those attending in person should meet at the BLM-Utah State Office, 440 West 200 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, Fifth Floor, Monument Conference Room. A half-hour public comment period will take place from 12:30-1:00 p.m.
