TWIN FALLS, ID - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Twin Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet Friday, June 17 at 8:00 a.m. at the BLM Twin Falls District Office, 2878 Addison Ave. E., Twin Falls. The period from 8:15-8:45 a.m. is set aside for public comment and questions.

In the morning, there will be a travel management planning update and an overview of the sagebrush focal area withdrawal proposal. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to wild horse and burro program education, which will include a tour of the Bruneau Off-Range Wild Horse Corrals.

The BLM Twin Falls District RAC is a 15-member advisory panel that provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for approximately 3.9 million acres of federal public lands within 10 counties in south-central Idaho. Meetings are open to the public, and attendees are welcome to address the council during the comment period from 8:15-8:45 a.m. This forum provides a good opportunity for people to ask questions of the citizen-based advisory council or to make comments that may assist RAC members in advising BLM regarding the current planning efforts.
