The following press releases was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management on June 20, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

RIGBY, ID - The BLM would like to invite the public to attend an open house Tuesday, June 28, to provide local input and expertise into its travel management planning process. “We are required to identify and designate routes and trails on public lands," said Monica Zimmerman, recreation planner for the Upper Snake Field Office (USFO). “This open house is our first attempt to get additional information from the groups that are familiar with the area and have ideas for us to consider."

The BLM is holding the meeting early in the summer to allow interested individuals the opportunity to get outside and review the proposed alternatives (different routes and trails) on the ground.
