Northern California Resource Advisory Council Meeting is Postponed

REDDING, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Northern California District Resource Advisory Council (RAC) meeting for Wednesday, April 26, at the BLM Northern California District Office, 6640 Lockheed Dr., Redding, has been postponed to a later date.

The 15-member advisory council advises the BLM on all aspects of the agency's public land management mission in northern California and far northwest Nevada.

The members were appointed by the U. S. Secretary of The Interior and represent varied interests, including recreation, livestock grazing, timber and forest products, environmental organizations, wild horse and burro management, local government, the academic sector, state natural resource agencies and the public at large.

The Northern California District RAC is one of 30 regional and statewide advisory councils in place across the western states.
