SANTA FE, N.M. - In keeping with the Administration’s goal of strengthening America’s energy independence, the Bureau of Land Management will offer 24 parcels, totaling 4,152.10 acres in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas at its June 7 quarterly oil and gas lease sale. The BLM will hold the lease sale online via www.energynet.com.
Bidding will begin at 8 a.m. MST. The BLM will offer 20 parcels in Beckham, Dewey, Grady, Major, McClain and Woodward counties, Okla.; one parcel in Zapata County, TX; and three parcels in Norton and Meade counties, Kan.
The lease sale’s environmental assessments, lists and maps of the parcels, and the attached stipulations, are online at https://www.blm.gov/programs/energy-and-minerals/oil-and-gas/leasing/regional-lease-sales/new-mexico.
Online oil and gas lease sales streamline the bidding process and allow the BLM to serve the public better and faster. These lease sales strengthen domestic energy production and contribute to the country’s energy independence.
