UKIAH, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management is temporarily closing public lands and recreation sites in the Cache Creek area due to dangers imposed by the County Fire, burning near Lake Berryessa in Napa and Yolo counties. The County Fire has burned more than 80,000 acres and has high potential for growth.
The closure affects public lands south of State Route 20 and west of State Route 16, including the High Bridge, Cowboy Camp, Judge Davis and Red Bud recreation sites. The temporary closure will remain in effect until further notice. The Knoxville Recreation Area is also temporarily closed.
