ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management’s El Malpais National Conservation Area Ranger Station will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Thursday through Monday, indefinitely. The Ranger Station was scheduled to be closed for renovations and improvements starting Sept. 4; however, the project has been delayed. The Ranger Station will be staffed with helpful BLM Park Rangers who can assist visitors in furthering their knowledge of the National Conservation Area.
