LARAMIE, Wyo. - The Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative (WLCI) Executive Committee will host a meeting on Friday, Nov. 9, 8 a.m., at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) Laramie Region Office. The WLCI is a formal partnership between federal, state and local agencies that formed in 2007 to support the long-term effort of maintaining habitat for the area’s world-class wildlife while supporting multiple uses on the landscape. Partnerships are vital to the BLM’s mission of managing sustainable, working public lands.
The agenda topics for the meeting include the approval of an agreement with the Wyoming Mining and Natural Resources Foundation, the release of a 10-year accomplishment report, and projects ranking for 2019.
The public is invited to attend the meeting to learn more about the collaborative efforts of the WLCI. The Executive Committee will welcome public comments at designated times. The WGFD Laramie Region Office is located at 1212 S. Adams Street, Laramie, WY 82070.
