CARSON CITY, Nev. - Today, the Bureau of Land Management, Carson City District, Sierra Front Field Office, announces the postponement of the opening of Indian Creek Campground, located adjacent to Indian Creek Reservoir in Alpine County, California. This campground usually opens around the first of May and remains open until mid-October. The campground will be closed through May or longer if needed.

The BLM continues to serve the public while doing our part to address COVID-19. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and recommendations from state and local public health authorities, the BLM is postponing the opening of Indian Creek Campground to limit the spread of the virus. The health and safety of staff and visitors in these facilities is our number one priority.
