BLM Wyoming restarting wild horse & burro adoptions by appointment only

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - BLM Wyoming will immediately begin accepting appointments to view and adopt wild horses and burros at the Mantle Adoption and Training Facility in Wheatland and the Rock Springs Corral in Rock Springs. Appointments at the Mantle Adoption and Training Facility will be accepted for Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and at the Rock Springs Corrals for Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. All appointments must be made through the BLM. Appointments will be limited to preapproved adopters on a first-call, first-served basis. Appointments will also be limited to an hour and a half. Guidance from the CDC, and state and local health officials will be followed to protect employees, contractors, and the public.
