Fort Benton, Mont. -- Looking for some outdoor family fun? Join BLM Park Rangers during Family Explorer Day at the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument on Thursday, July 29.
Family Explorer Day offers free, two-hour outdoor activity programs, weather permitting, starting at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Participating families with children of all ages are encouraged to bring active imaginations and be ready for fun as rangers lead short activities and games highlighting the unique plants and animals found within the Monument area.
Discover your inner naturalist and inspire your child's interest in the natural world. Registration is required, so call the UMRBNM Interpretive Center today to reserve your family's spot - 406-622-4000.
Program participants will meet at the UMRBNM Interpretive Center at 701 7th Street in Fort Benton. Please, dress appropriately for outdoor conditions. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring refillable water bottles, sunscreen, hats, insect repellent and closed-toed shoes.
