The Albuquerque District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and El Paso Water (EPWater) are conducting a study to determine how to address flooding and debris flow problems in Central El Paso.
The USACE, EPWater, and El Paso City Representative Alexsandra Annello’s office will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Memorial Park Senior Center, 1800 Byron St., El Paso, TX 79930. The meeting will be an “open-house” style with short presentations. The public is welcome to attend at any time during the meeting.
The public meeting will provide attendees with information regarding the study process and the alternatives being considered to reduce flood risk. Attendees can view maps of the study area, ask questions of USACE and EPWater staff, and suggest locations where measures should be placed.
