Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Representative to the United Nations, met today with International Organization of La Francophonie Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo. They discussed opportunities for cooperation to build peace in the Sahel, Central Africa, and Haiti and to promote food security worldwide. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield outlined the United States’ affirmative vision for the United Nations, centered on ensuring respect for the UN Charter.
