Bill S.4936 titled “A bill to establish a National Council on African American History and Culture within the National Endowment for the Humanities, and for other purposes” was read twice and referred to the Committee on Health Education Labor and Pensions by the Senate. The bill is sponsored by Sen. Benjamin Cardin.
