Cultural Demonstrator Program 2006

Petrified Forest, AZ - July 2006, kicks-off the beginning of the Petrified Forest National Park’s Summer Cultural Demonstrator Program. This program will provide the opportunity for regional peoples to share their history and traditional crafts in the dynamic setting of Petrified Forest National Park. The park has scheduled demonstrators each Saturday from July through the first weekend of September to participate in the program. The goal of the program is to further the public’s understanding and appreciation of the rich diversity of human tradition and history in this region.

* Saturday, Sept. 2, Nancy & Sheldon Westika: Zuni Jewelry-maker and Fetish Carver
