NPS Announces Temporary closure of Kingman Wash 62-06

Today, Tuesday, Nov. 28, NPS maintenance personnel have temporarily closed Kingman Wash Road (Approved Road #70) to motor vehicle travel, hiking, and other recreational uses of the land-based area through December 2. This road is located in Arizona off U.S. Highway 93 at mile marker 2. Additionally, several other roads that are accessed from the Kingman Wash Road are also temporary closed: Kingman Wash South Mine Road (Approved Road #70A), Kingman Wash North Mine Road (Approved Road #70B), and Fortification Hill Road (Approved Road #70C).
