Robert Cray, Lucinda Williams, Arlo Guthrie Coming To Lowell
First six shows announced for summer 2008 concert series
The Lowell Summer Music Series announces its first six shows going on sale on Feb. 15, 2008. Those shows include blues headliners The Robert Cray Band and the Keb’ Mo’ Band, folksinger/songwriters Arlo Guthrie and Brandi Carlile, Alt. Country star Lucinda Williams, and bluegrass star Jerry Douglas.
The Lowell National Historical Park, the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the Lowell Festival Foundation will present the 19th Season of the Lowell Summer Music Series at Boarding House Park, featuring 24 concert events. The first announced shows are:

Advance tickets for these shows are only available for purchase at the Lowell Summer Music Series website, www.lowellsummermusic.org as of Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. Additional sales outlets will be announced in March when the entire series goes on sale.
All show times are 7:30PM. Affordable for the whole family, children 12 and under always admitted free to the Lowell Summer Music Series. Boarding House Park is located at the corner of French and John Streets in downtown Lowell. In the event of rain, most performances move to the Lowell High School auditorium, across the street from Boarding House Park. A few will be relocated to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium at
