Rocky Mountain Transit Management to offer 5 hour tour of Trail Ridge Road

Wednesdays in July & August 2008

Due to a high demand from visitors to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, Rocky Mountain Transit Management in conjunction with Rocky Mountain National Park will be offering a 5 hour interpretive tour of Trail Ridge Road. The tour will leave the Estes Park Visitors Center at 9:45 a.m. for the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. The tour will begin at 10:00 a.m. from the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. The tour will stop at the following locations:

* Many Parks Curve

* Rainbow Curve

* Lava Cliffs

* Alpine Visitor Center-Passengers will be allowed 1 hour for lunch

* Forest Canyon Overlook

Ample time will be allowed at all stops for photographs and viewing.

Interpretive Tour

Rocky Mountain National Park personnel will be onboard to describe the history and geologic wonders of the highest continuously paved road in North America. They will also be available to answer any questions.

The cost for adults is $20. Youths 16 and under $10. Children not occupying a seat are free.
