Untold Stories in America’s National Parks

Fort Union National Monument, National Park Service, announces Glimpses of the Past Program, Untold Stories from America’s National Parks at the Citizen’s Committee for Historic Preservation/Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Center, 116 Bridge St., Las Vegas, on Thursday Sept. 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

Untold Stories, a series of 5 short films, documents contemporary people from diverse backgrounds involved in national parks. Discover little known stories through the eyes of school children, artisans, and Native Americans; explore cultural and religious practices and meet former captives and unsung heroes. All these stories and many more make up the fascinating and unique history of this country.
