Women's Stories. In conjunction with Lowell Women's Week 2011, Lowell National Historical Park hosts a series of events exploring ways that women past and present have told their stories. The Lowell Film Collaborative presents a special film screening of ""Iron Jawed Angels"

Follow the true story of a group of passionate, dynamic young women who put their lives on the line to fight for American women's right to vote! Saturday March 5th 2:30-3:30pm Park Ranger JoAnn Marcos presents "The Forgotten Women of Lowell: The Boardinghouse Keepers"

Learn about the daily lives of the Boardinghouse Keeper. Gain insight into these women, the nature of their work and the challenges they face every day. Tour begins at the Visitor Center and end with a tour of the Boott Boarding House.Walking involved.
