Bandy Creek Bookstore at Big South Fork is Having a Spring Cleaning Sale

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on March 21, 2011. It is reproduced in full below.

The bookstore at Bandy Creek is having a spring cleaning sale! The staff has selected a number of items to deeply discount in order to make room for new, incoming titles. Most items are up to 50 percent off the original price. This is an excellent opportunity to find a bargain on quality books and other items. The sale will begin immediately and continue through the month of April.

This is also an excellent time to visit the beautiful Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The park offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Spring is definitely the time to enjoy the hiking trails, look for wildflowers, take a horseback ride or perhaps just find a quiet spot and enjoy doing nothing at all. All park campgrounds will be open by April 1, with some open year round, providing the perfect location for a family weekend in the outdoors.

For more information, contact the Bandy Creek Visitor Center at (423) 286-7275.
