Somerset, PA -A meeting of the Flight 93 Advisory Commission will be held on Saturday February 4, 2012 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.The meeting is open to the public, and will be held at the Somerset offices of Flight 93 National Memorial:109 W. Main Street, #104, Somerset, PA 15501
The purpose of the meeting is the review events and developments related to Flight 93 National Memorial since the previous meeting in November. The meeting will include reports on communications, interpretive planning, land acquisition, memorial design, fundraising, and National Park service activities.
Congress authorized the establishment of a federal advisory commission to assist the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service with the formulation of plans for a permanent memorial to honor the passengers and crew of Flight 93.
