Defense Secretary to Visit Flight 93 National Memorial

SHANKSVILLE, Pa. - Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta will tour the Flight 93 National Memorial on Monday, September 10. Secretary Panetta will travel to Shanksville, PA from Washington, D.C.

Following a private tour of the permanent Flight 93 National Memorial, the Secretary will hold a brief media availability.

The media availability will be open to the traveling media and pre-credentialed correspondents. All media desiring to attend must RSVP via e-mail only to Mike Litterst (outlet, name(s) of personnel attending, and any transmission vehicles to mike_litterst@nps.gov) by 10:00am EDT, Friday, September 7.
