SELMA, AL - The Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail invites you to "Why is Voting Important", a character education program. The program will take place at the Selma Interpretive Center, 2 Broad Street Selma, AL, 36703, on May 11, 2013 starting at 10:00 a.m.
The purpose of this program is to introduce children with little to no previous knowledge to the importance of voting and the local Voting Rights Movement. The program features the creation of a voting wall, which will display the works of every participant.
