There will be a Storytelling Hour at the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area's Bandy Creek Visitor Center on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m. Shirley Nicholson will be telling stories for children of all ages on the back porch of the visitor center. Mrs. Nicholson is a long time member of the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association and has been a storyteller for more than 30 years, telling at regional schools, libraries, and festivals.
