WARTBURG, Tennessee: The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be hosting a guided night sounds hike on Saturday, June 15, beginning at 9:00 p.m. EDT.From insects to frogs to owls and other night birds, the summer night is full of sounds.Rangers from the Obed and from Frozen Head State Park will help participants learn to make sense of this nightly symphony as they hike to Lilly Overlook.Participants should meet at Lilly Overlook parking lot.All ages are welcome to attend, but children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring a flashlight.
