Hours of Operation to Change as Summer Comes to a Close

Copper Center, Alaska - The summer is fast coming to a close and with that park programs and hours of operation will be changing at Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve.

The following are scheduled changes for the month of September:

9/02 - :last day the Chitina Ranger Station is open

9/08 - :last day the Kennecott Visitor Center is open.

9/15 - :last day of ranger programs at the Copper Center Visitor Center.

9/21 - :winter hours begin at the Copper Center Visitor Center, 9am - 4pm, M-F, closed on weekends and federal holidays.

9/29 - :last day the Slana Ranger Station is open.
