Groundbreaking for Flight 93 National Memorial

Visitor Center Complex

FOR GUIDANCE AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY -

NOT FOR BROADCAST

WHAT: The National Park Service will break ground on the new Flight 93 National Memorial visitor center complex on Tuesday, September 10 at 3 p.m.The ceremony will include brief remarks by Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell and Flight 93 partner organizations. Following the remarks, the public will be invited to assist in the in the staking of the Visitor Center walls by helping tap in surveyor stakes that will form an outline of the new complex.
