Williamson County, TN - On Jan. 18, 2015 at approximately 2:22 p.m., Natchez Trace Communications received notification of a single motor vehicle accident near milepost 441.5 near the northern terminus of the Parkway.U.S. Park Rangers, Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
The vehicle, a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle, was operated by Robert Swift, age 61, of Primm Springs, TN. Swift, the only occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene by Davidson County Coroner, Stephanie Moss. Rangers and Tennessee Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of the accident.
