Presenters Sought For Seventh Annual Winter Photo Festival
Photographers are invited to share their favorite winter images of the region with the public during the Seventh Annual Winter Photo Festival to be held next week in West Yellowstone.
The festival will be held at the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. The festival is sponsored by the National Park Service and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.
Photographers are asked to bring photographs in digital format (either Powerpoint or in JPEG format readable by Microsoft Photo Editor) on a thumb drive or photo CD. Photographs must be winter images from within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Presenters must provide narration during the presentation, explaining or interpreting their photos. Photographers are encouraged to provide tips on their photography techniques and presentations will be limited to twenty-five images or five minutes.
Photographers should arrive at the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center between 6:15 and 6:30 PM on March 11th to allow adequate time to load their images onto the computer. All files will be deleted from the computer following the program.
