The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area announces a special youth-focused program to celebrate Earth Day, Junior Ranger Day, and National Park Week. The program will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 11:00 a.m. (CT) at the Gateway to the Big South Fork Visitor Center in Crossville, Tennessee. In celebration of these three special occasions, Ranger Grimm will be demonstrating an Earth Day craft while talking about the importance of preserving our natural resources. She will also talk about the role national parks have played for almost 100 years in this preservation. Young visitors will have an opportunity to earn their very own Junior Ranger badges.
