Obed Wild and Scenic River Announces Junior Ranger Program to Celebrate National Junior Ranger Day

In celebration of National Park Week, National Junior Ranger Day and the upcoming National Park Service Centennial in 2016, the Obed Wild and Scenic River will be having a Junior Ranger program on Saturday, April 25. This free program will take place inside the Obed Visitor Center, located at 208 North Maiden Street in downtown Wartburg. Young children will fill outour park's Junior Ranger booklets and receive a special Obed patch and badge for their efforts. Parents are welcome to help their kids with this fun activity. This special event begins at 1 p.m. (EDT) and concludes around 2 p.m. No reservations are required.
