Jeri DeYoung Joins Park Staff as Chief of Resource Management

HARKERS ISLAND, NC -Superintendent Pat Kenney is pleased to announce the selection of Jeri DeYoung as the new Chief of Resource Management at Cape Lookout National Seashore. Jeri will be joining the staff in May 2015 from her current position at the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

"I look forward to this fantastic opportunity and am honored to be the steward of the amazing natural and cultural resources of Cape Lookout," said Jeri. Jeri has worked at several other NPS units during her career with the National Park Service including Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, the Denver Service Center, and the US Forest Service. Jeri earned her bachelors from Weber State University and her Master of Arts from Northern Arizona University.
