The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area's summer visitor contact stations will all be open by Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend (May 23):
·The Stearns Visitor Contact Station will be open all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from May 23 through September 7 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). The Stearns Station is located at 300 Wilburn K. Ross Highway in Stearns, Kentucky. For more information, call (606) 376-5652.
·The Blue Heron Interpretative Center is now open Wednesday through Sundays and holidays and is located at 8249 Mine 18 Road, Strunk, Kentucky. For more information, call (606) 376-3787 or (606) 376-5073.
·The Rugby Visitor Contact Station will be open all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from May 23 through September 7 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). ·The National Park Service is partnering with the Scott County Visitor Center and starting May 23 will be open seven days a week through September 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). ·The Crossville Visitor Center continues to be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT). The Crossville Visitor Center is located at 176 River Otter Drive in Crossville, Tennessee. For more information, call (931) 787-1755.
·The Bandy Creek Visitor Center continues to be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
