All Big South Fork Summer Visitor Contact Stations Open by Saturday, May 23

The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area's summer visitor contact stations will all be open by Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend (May 23):

·The Stearns Visitor Contact Station will be open all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from May 23 through September 7 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). The Stearns Station is located at 300 Wilburn K. Ross Highway in Stearns, Kentucky. For more information, call (606) 376-5652.

·The Blue Heron Interpretative Center is now open Wednesday through Sundays and holidays and is located at 8249 Mine 18 Road, Strunk, Kentucky. For more information, call (606) 376-3787 or (606) 376-5073.

·The Rugby Visitor Contact Station will be open all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from May 23 through September 7 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). The Rugby Station is located at the Historic Board of Aid Building at 5517 Rugby Highway, Rugby, Tennessee. For more information, call (423) 628-2991.

·The National Park Service is partnering with the Scott County Visitor Center and starting May 23 will be open seven days a week through September 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET). The Scott County Visitor Center is located at 12025 Scott Highway, Huntsville, Tennessee. For more information, call (423) 663-6900.

·The Crossville Visitor Center continues to be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT). The Crossville Visitor Center is located at 176 River Otter Drive in Crossville, Tennessee. For more information, call (931) 787-1755.

·The Bandy Creek Visitor Center continues to be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
