Kid’s Day at Gateway to the Big South Fork Visitor Center on June 16

Make plans to attend Kid's Day at the Gateway to the Big South Fork Crossville-Cumberland County Visitor Center on Tuesday, June 16, from noon to 4 p.m. (Central Time). The Center will have National Park Service Rangers from Big South Fork and the Obed Wild and Scenic River providing information on national parks and lots of outdoor recreation, State Park Rangers from Cumberland Mountain and Standing Stone will have owls and snakes and state park information, Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency will have their 65th Anniversary mounted animal trailer, Cumberland County Health Department will have a prize wheel with games on healthy living, and the Cumberland County Litter Prevention will have information on recycling and activity books. There will also be sidewalk chalk art and refreshments.

This event is free, wheelchair accessible, and open to all. The Visitor Center is located at 176 River Otter Drive in Crossville, right off theI-40 Genesis Road exit. For more information, please contact Beth Wyatt-Davis at the Gateway to the Big South Fork Visitor Center at (931) 787-1755.
