2015 Fire Ban in Effect at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on June 30, 2015. It is reproduced in full below.

Due to extreme conditions, all fires at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area are prohibited effective July 1, 2015, until further notice. No open flames are permitted. This includes but is not limited to campfires in NPS approved fire rings and barbeque grates, charcoal fires, tiki torches, incense burners, etc. Self-contained propane or gas stoves or lanterns are still allowed.
