Sagamore Hill Announces Offseason Schedule from Labor Day through Memorial Day

Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US President, will be closed on Mondays, beginning Sept. 14, 2015, and remain closed every Monday until Memorial Day 2016. On Tuesday November 3rd, Sagamore Hill will be closed and remain closed every Monday and Tuesday until Memorial Day 2016.

Entering Theodore Roosevelt’s Home is by guided tour only. Tours are offered at the top of the hour from 10:00AM to 4:00 PM at a cost of $10 for adults; those 15 and under are free. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served on days that Visitor Center is open beginning at 9:00 AM. Each tour is limited to fourteen persons. Limited tickets can be purchased up to six months in advance through Recreation.gov, or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Weekends, school vacations and holiday weekends are very busy so if you are coming at one of these times, plan to visit earlier in the day to secure your tour tickets.

The grounds and nature trail at Sagamore Hill NHS are open 7 days per week year round from sunrise to sunset and are free of charge.
