Local National Parks Celebrate the National Park Service Centennial with Special Events (Cortez)

National Parks of the Southeast Utah Group (Arches and Canyonlands national parks and Hovenweep and Natural Bridges national monuments) are planning a number of special events in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service.

The public is invited to join park rangers for a variety of activities leading up to Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 -the actual day the National Park Service turns 100 years old.

A list of currently planned special events can be found at: go.nps.gov/SEUG100.

In order to see all event listings at the above link, change the calendar dates to include Dec. 31, 2016.

As new events are planned they will be added to the list-so check back for updates!
