Lake Powell visitors can expect less trash to spoil the pristine scenery this summer. This is thanks to local tour and service providers adopting canyons throughout Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. As canyon stewards, these companies will remove trash from their canyons throughout 2016.
"I admire the dedication and ingenuity of our Adopt a Canyon partners in combating trash by boat, kayak and even on foot throughout this vast and remote park," said Acting Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Superintendent Billy Shott. "Beyond providing tours and vessel services throughout the park, they are improving resource conditions for all to enjoy."

* Labyrinth Canyon -Hidden Canyon Kayak
* Antelope Canyon -Lake Powell Paddle Boards
* Halls Crossing area beaches -Four Corners Adventures
* The Escalante River and its tributaries -National Outdoor Leadership School
* Coyote Gulch -The Wildland Trekking Company
* Fence Canyon and Harris Wash -Aspiro
* Muley Point and Cedar Point -Far Out Expedition
* Neon Canyon and Ring Trail Canyon -Zion Adventure Company
* Warm Creak Road to Alstrom Point -Seeking Treasure Adventures
* West Canyon -Houseboat Management Services
* Gunsight Canyon, Cookie Jar Butte, Kane Creek Canyon and Padre Canyon - Lake Powell Refrigeration, Heating and A/C
* Bullfrog Bay and Hobie Cat Beach -Ticaboo Resort
