Road Improvements May Cause Delays on Steel Creek Road

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Sept. 15, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

Visitors may experience temporary lane and road closures on Steel Creek Road due to road improvements. Flaggers and road crews will be present during the construction beginning on09/26/2016with an anticipated completion date of10/06/2016. The scheduled work day will be7:30 am to 5:00 pmMonday through Friday. The project will not delay weekend traffic and any complete road closures will be brief.
