iRanger.org Brings Homestead National Monument of America To Your Mobile Device

"Engage, Interact, and Learn" through homesteading history and the natural tallgrass prairie on the new ranger for your pocket ), a mobile interpretive resource at Homestead National Monument of America.

It features interactive games and challenges, history adventures, plant and wildlife identifications, and special event information all accessible on your smartphone. The exciting, interactive, responsive resource is completely free and made possible by the Friends of Homestead. "This interpretive resource is a unique and exciting opportunity for visitors to continue exploring Homestead either on our trails or while at home," stated Superintendent Mark Engler. "We are excited to unveil this new all device program during this incredible centennial year for the National Park Service."

Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service located four miles west of Beatrice, Nebraska and 45 miles south of Lincoln.
